Well, I’m back from Florida – I had a great time!! I did really well with the whole flying bit . . . I only felt like I was going to die once over the Gulf of Mexico. It was raining and the turbulence was unlike anything I’ve ever been through. As I’m sitting there, truly flipping out, Josh just looks at me, shrugs, and says, “I’ve been through worse”. Yikes!
I did rather well with the eating situation too. I ate more than usual, but I was still conscious of it and I feel that I made some pretty healthful choices. It’s so hard when you’re a house guest to be truly picky, but there were good options. Eggs and toast for breakfast, steak and crab legs for dinner – it was delicious! No complaints here!
I’m also super proud of myself because I weighed in before I left instead of missing a week. I was a little nervous because I weighed in on a Wednesday night – I usually weigh in Saturday morning – and I was feeling a little swollen from the day. As I drove to the meeting I kept telling myself “don’t worry, you’re weighing on a different day at a later time, even if you don’t lose anything, you’ve done well”. When I got to the meeting and stepped on the scale I learned that I lost 2 whole pounds!! That’s six total, so wooooot!!!
The next weigh in is tomorrow morning – I’m pretty excited. I love my meeting!

Congrats on your loss!! It’s always so hard to keep on track when you’re traveling – great job!
